“Our 23rd Anniversary capsule features artwork by close friends from around Edmonton, including @thrvht for the Michiko 23 Tee pictured above.

The Michiko23 Tee, done up in chocolate brown, pays homage to an iconic Japanese anime series by the name of Michiko & Hatchin. In the third episode of the series, the character Hatchin loses her sneakers and Michiko steals an expensive pair to replace them. The front of the tee features a rendering done by Vivian of a cel taken from this episode, where Hatchin comes to the realization that her new shoes were stolen after finding them for sale in the display case of a local shop. The back of the tee features our logo, flipped to resemble the anime’s own Y2K logo.”
